Founder and CEO Samuel ‘Skip’ Weller, an accomplished and sought-after media insider, founded Weller Media Services, Inc. 13 years ago with the goal of helping his clients elevate their brand, increase their sales, and maximize their bottom line. With experience spanning 45 years, Skip’s expertise in advertising and marketing is second to none. 

Because of his vision and fortitude, Skip quickly moved up the media ladder, climbing from account executive and sales manager to becoming a powerful owner, operator, and executive of TV, radio, and billboard companies. His media chops are undeniable:

• 2008-Present: Founder and President of Weller Media Services, Inc.
• 1999-2007: Co-Founder and COO/President of NextMedia Group, Inc.; Owner/operator of radio and billboard companies throughout the country
• 1996-1999 Executive Vice President, Chancellor Media / AM/FM, Inc.; Largest radio group in America at the time, sold to Clear Channel, now iHeartMedia
• 1989-1996 Part owner, VP, and General Manager, KOSI  KEZW, Denver 
• 1985-1989 Sales Manager, WDSU NBC, New Orleans
• 1980-1985 General Sales Manager, WWIW, New Orleans 
• 1976-1979 Account Executive, WGNO TV, New Orleans

Throughout his career, Skip has excelled in creating opportunities for his businesses and clients and has received many accolades for his efforts. He has received an ADDY Bronze award for commercial production, was named by Radio Ink as one of the 40 Most Powerful People in Radio three years in a row, and was nominated for a Golden Gavel Award for commercial production by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Skip’s biggest motivator, however, is seeing his clients thrive.

When he’s not helping companies of all sizes achieve success, you’ll find Skip traveling, golfing, walking, practicing yoga, and spending time with his wife, Michelle, (who will tell you that Skip has “never met a stranger.”) He’s always forging new relationships and ready to mentor others. Skip splits his time between Denver and West Palm Beach, where he gives back to his communities with time, talent, and financial support.
